TEETH WHITENING
To have that beautiful smile, one needs to have clean, beautiful teeth. A nice set of pearly whites can go a long way towards building self confidence and self esteem. For those with teeth discoloration, tooth whitening can help. Whitening treatments don't yield permanent results. If you expose your teeth to foods and beverages that cause staining you may see the whiteness start to fade. Most stains are caused by age, tobacco, coffee, tea, antibiotics or too much fluoride.
Here a few home remedies for teeth whitening:
.Brush or rinse immediately after consuming stain-causing beverages or foods.
.Brush your teeth at least twice daily and floss at least once daily to remove plaque.
.Use whitening toothpaste once or twice a week to remove surface stains and prevent yellowing. Use regular toothpaste the rest of the time.
.Hydrogen peroxide is probably the most common and popular natural lightening agent.
.Lemon juice, baking soda or baking powder can also be used for teeth whitening.
.Apple cider vinegar can also be used for teeth whitening.
.Wood ash is known for being a natural bleaching agent but use it sparingly.
.Rub the inside of an orange peel on the teeth.
.Rubbing the bark of walnut tree brightens the teeth.
.Chew a piece of sugarless gum after you’ve had your coffee or tea. This is also an effective home remedy.
.Strawberries are natural teeth whiteners, simply rub them directly on your teeth or mash into a paste and apply.
.Add a drop of clove oil to the toothpaste and brush.
.Good nutritious diet is very effective in maintaining the dental health.
.Eating fresh vegetables and fruits like carrots, broccoli, celery, apples, strawberries, and cucumbers can help whiten your teeth.
